To my surprice this antique fabric, which has the same rose patterns as the antique sewing box I got at a flea market in Paris, was used as curtain so base patterns (maybe beige color) were perfectly faded and disappeared by sunburn and laundry. |

Backsides made from antique fabrics. |

Sewing Basket & Pincushion I made these sewing basket and pincushion in the way of cartonnage, using my favorite antique French ticking fabrics and other antique materials. A little warped but I love them for all that. :-) |

Pincushion is in style of miniature basket and made from the same ticking as the sewing basket, put button, cut piece of linen measure, some stitches..., and also used leather cord for handle. |

Size: 12cm in diameter and 10cm in height. Not too small, not to large, just a comfortable size to use. :-) |

Garden Chair Cushions After breaking the back of a job at the terrace, I put new wooden garden folding chairs. I intended to make cushions for them from antique fabrics so I painted them some shabby'n chic color, grayish ivory. |

Usually I file and make some atmosphere of antique on works. But this time I didn't do because this season we are going to enjoy picnicking in the mountains, the edge of placid mountain lake, etc. sometime so that they will have some nice atmosphere with use naturally. |

...using my favorite antique French fabrics, red and ivory colored roses, small flowers, fruits patterns, and 3 colors of beige, ivory and red ticking fabrics... |

Backside fabric peeped out is unexpectedly a point that attracts our attention, isn't it? I tried to coordinate antique red check handwoven linen. What do you say? :-) |
Pincushions in style of Shoe Last time I made Trinket Box refering to an antique one made from some antique postcards sewing up together, which was in fashion and popular in 1900's. This time I tried to make these pincushions which were made by the same technique as the box, presisely refering to Victorian antique one in style of shoe. |

This is made using a greeting card from a friend, stitched up with 3 strands of DMC No.25, using antique French velvet. |

This is made from decoupage paper backed with strong paper, using antique lace, pink flower button and pink felt. |

And, this made from leather is a little bit different from atmosphere of antique one, but has a pleasant feel, very soft and tender to the touch, and so I prefer this to two others. I embroidered flower pattern on it. |

These are the antique ones I refer to. I'd like to make another different shaped box... |
