Jul. 13, 2008 Now also we are in a vacation mood in all Italy. :-) The antique dealers are no exception to this. In July and August many antique markets are closed in Italy. Therefore today I've hurried to one held at Castelleone. |

...because, there are wonderful antique lace shop and linen shop which have many stock of Venetian needlepoint laces. I've got some small ones for my handmade works. |

I've found some more lovely items for my works at linen shop and postcard shop. The three-dimensional antique crochet motif is so cute, isn't it? :-) |
Jul. 03, 2008 Thank you very very much for your many orders at my boutique. :-) Next open will be in early November. |

I enclosed this photo as a shop card in your parcels. Please wait a while for their arrival. Thank you again. |
Jun. 21, 2008 At last the rainy days went off. :-) |

Now I'm making sachets of rose and lavender from our terrace with a little bit essential oil, putting into sachets made from antique French fabrics and tying with antique initial tape. These are the present for you who purchase over 30 euro at my boutique. :-) Further, because there is a limit to the ingredients, I will send them in order of arrival of your order and finish upon running out of ingredients. Thanks. |
Jun. 18, 2008 Wow! :-) This lovely bag has arrived today from my friend Keiko who always makes lovely bags of natural colors and materials. |

Tender and natural tone... useful large pocket... which I like very much. |

...sewed on a little piece of antique English red embroidered ribbon and lace, and stitched her initial... These are very cute, the zip fastener of sue, too. How lovely! Bravissima Keiko!!! :-D Sent with the antique ribbon I love and natural linen frame. Oh, so happy I am!!! |

The terrace is fragrant with the smell of last roses. Now I'm preparing to make many small sachets with petals of roses and lavender gathered in at the terrace. But in this month with a lot of rain I cannot dry them well. I wonder if they are in time for opening boutique... |
Jun. 14, 2008 How long have French religious medals been rising in popularity in Japan? |

Almost silver with hallmark, some are silver but low purity, some are silver plate, with relief of saint, angel, the Virgin Mary, the Virgin with Child, Church, etc. Arranged with antique miniature key, other charm, etc. Also Sylvie used a little one on her work in her newly published book. I'd like to dare to use carefully on handmade bag or pouch, and some fragile one on rose sachet, taking consideration that there had been people who prized them in their era.. |

Jun. 12, 2008 Amazingly found! Antique original boxed, still tied and unused Victorian needles! Very chic and characteristic design of gold colored label on black packet. Now I'm trying to make some small collage frames of antique sewing items adding this one. |

These needle packets were made by James Smith & Son., one of many needle producing companies which existed at Redditch in the Victorian era. Their label shows name of company, trade mark and says "Saddler's Sewing". |

Their various old needles are now being displayed in a needle museum in England. A nice and precious collection. Above all, its chic design is fascinating. |

Well, these are English and French antique forged iron (including cut steel, castiron) scissors of the Victorian era. I like also silver scissors of course. However these scissors have refined designs in the simplicity and the feel of iron material which contemporary productions don't have. |

...with antique red embroidered ribbons and antique MOP buttons as a mark. Also some of these scissors will be used on collage frames. |
